This offcut is prepared to warn customers of possible delays in our timescales for work for artists.
Our various suppliers are delivering less frequently, and charging more for delivery. They are also tending to reduce on-the-shelf stocks. This means that we have to wait to bulk-up orders, and for them to be fulfilled.
We keep stocks of popular materials, and also make sensible provision for regular customers with their normal styles.
Customers are asked please to note that as a result of this some orders may take longer to complete than is our normal, and longer than we would wish. It is advisable to leave two or three weeks.
We will notify you of likely time-scale when placing your order. Please do not put us under to pressure to rush things - we are very reluctant to pass special-order surcharges on to customers, and we do not offer a "quick-fulfilment for an extra fee" service, since we feel it is opportunistic to cash-in on someone else’s need to make-up for lost time.
